While visiting family in October, we went shopping downtown. The White Peacock was a real treat and one of my favorites. The store was fun and inviting, and the gentleman was very knowledgeable. I remembered all the fun and yum at Christmas and wanted to send a gift box to my dad in Washington state. I called, and after telling Emma what I had in mind, she made some suggestions and went out of her way to put it together, package it up, and ship it out. She went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations! It was a hit with dad, who said I knocked it out of the park. It’ll be tough to top next Christmas! Thank you Emma!
Had a great day in Lufkin last week, really enjoyed looking in the shops and discovering new things. I really recommend a visit to The White Peacock, we had never been in a store like this. It was absolutely beautiful and the owner was a delight, sharing her love and knowledge of the olive oils, vinegars and other gourmet treats. Soooo many delicious ideas and samples.
This is a wonderful store- it has lots of specialty foods, oils, and goodies. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I went in this last time with my 3 year old daughter, and one of the workers played with her while I made my final choices and checked out. Another worker (maybe the owner?) helped me find allergy friendly items for my husband. Wow. Great store and phenomenal customer service!

Rebecca has procured an amazing assortment of specialty olive oils, vinegars, mustard, sauces..honestly way too much to list. She is very knowledgeable and has wonderful suggestions. For a specialty shop the prices are very fair. The White Peacock is an awesome addition to the Downtown Shopping District. Go check them out..you won't regret it!

Fun store with a large variety of gifts and cooking supplies. The staff is helpful and friendly. A very large selection of balsamic and olive oils. The cilantro and roasted onion olive oil is amazing.
This place is a wonderful addition to Lufkin Downtown. My friend and I went in for the first time and we were very impressed with the variety of both olive oils and white and dark vinaigrettes. The family that runs The White Peacock were very informative and also allowed us to try several even mixtures of oils with vinaigrette together. Just be careful if you have a sensitive stomach, i may upset it. The price is very reasonable too. Handy spouts for each are also available for purchase
